My review is on Tesco sensitive sun protection 50SPF. Ok, I have a confession. I never use sun cream. I'm obsessed with putting it on my son but never bother with myself so this review is purely about how it works for him. My son doesn't have particularly sensitive skin; occasionally he will react to something but not very ...  Read the complete review

My review is based on Tesco's Sun Protection Spray Bottle (About 275ml I think) which I brought for £3.00. This is around the same price as other supermarket own brand lotions but is about £2 cheaper than the Boots own-brand stuff (Soltan). I usually buy the Asda own-brand cheap sun-tan lotion as it usually gets binned at the end of ...  Read the complete review

I was on the school run recently when I realised that I had forgotten to put sun protection on my daughter and as the forecasters had predicted a hot and sunny day I nipped into Tesco on the way to school and basically bought the cheapest thing on the shelf because I knew it was only for that day and I had loads of other bottles of sun protection ...  Read the complete review

Like most people over the last couple of days, we have been enjoying the sunshine. Isn't it amazing how a bit of the yellow stuff can make you feel a whole lot happier? Obviously we are constantly being warned about the harmful affects of it and I am a neurotic when it comes to applying suncream especially on my boys. They are ages two and a half ...  Read the complete review

I bought Tesco Factor 50 Sun Cream for the kids for our holiday in France. It's been 5 years since either of the kids has been in any over sea's sun, but there have been a couple of weeks of decent sun in the UK in those 5 years and factor 30 has been fine for them. So I assumed Factor 50 would do the job. How wrong I was, despite ...  Read the complete review

When I went to the Maldives in 2007, I had been advised by lots of people to take tons of sun cream because when you are out there it is so expensive to buy. Because I was taking such a lot of the stuff, I didn't want to spend a small fortune (especially as they are probably all the same anyway) so I chose the tesco own brand sun lotion. It comes ...  Read the complete review

I found tescos suncream rubbish. i blisterd this year on holiday. my sister was wearing a factor 10 of another brand which she rarely applied and did not burn once. i applied my tesco suncream at a factor 15 as often as i could and still burnt the worst i ever have. my skin isnt even that pale! i would not recommend tesco suncream to anyone!

Bad For Little Ones Skin (268 words)
by - written on 23/07/01
Rating:

I have a real problem now that the Summer is upon us again I have always bought Tesco's suncream because it's cheap and does the job very well but it is very bad for little ones skin because the higher the factor the more it blocks up their pores, which in turn can cause really bad skin complaints. Now Tescos do indeed do a great suncream ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Sun Cream: Tesco's sun cream (132 words)

We all know how expensive sun creams are for kids - the higher the factor the more extortionate the price it appears! I have got very fair skin - one ray of sun on me and I tend to go very red! I was therefore really concerned about my daughter. The prices of some lotions were really extortionate ( I think sun lotion should be a ...  Read the complete review
