I have bought the other day this dental floss from Tesco. I use dental floss a lot, not only after each meal, but even after snacks or after eating a fruit. I normally carry one dental floss with me all the time. Tesco dental floss can be easily stored in the internal pocket of my suit. I am a bit disappointed though, by the quality of this product. I tend to buy dental floss which taste like mint, and this one does, however, it is not of good quality and tends to breaks a lot. The grip is ok, it is not too smooth or greasy not to be able to grip it firmly, but the problem is that you need to be very ... Read the complete review

Just about THE only thing I can say in favour of Tesco's Total Care Freshmint Floss is that is tastes good. Kinda tangy, but not too nippy. And the packaging is alright too, I suppose. Other than that I wouldn't waste my time on it again. In fact, I have found the stuff to be sooo useless that I actually used it to tie up my runner beans this summer. And even THAT turned out a disaster....anyway - back to the floss; * It's too thin - it cut into my fingers and I was picking wee wisps outta my teeth for days after.... * It's too smooth - just couldn't get a decent grip on it and gave up practically as soon as i had started. * It ... Well, it was that time of the weekly shopping trip again - the toiletry aisle - and one of my tasks for this week was to pick out a pack of tooth floss. Choosing floss does not rate very highly on my excitement scale - as long as it does the job, it okay. So eventually I settled on the Tesco Total Care Freshmint Flavour Floss. It was probably the packaging that did it for me - cute and 'dinky', and slightly more elegant looking than the other brands. (I'm a real sucker when it comes to being swayed by packaging.) The price wasnt too bad either, being one of Tesco's 'own name' brands. The label on the pack says 'Use daily ... Read the complete review

I was really surprised to find such a lot of negative reviews for Tesco Total Care Freshmint Flavour Dental Floss on Dooyoo. Having had a look at them, though, it seems that many were written a few years ago, so the quality of the product may have been improved in the last couple of years. Personally I find it absolutely fine, as it does everything I want it to. The floss comes in a little blue plastic box, which clicks open easily. It is small enough to fit in any handbag which is great as I like to take dental floss out and about with me, in case I get something stuck in my teeth at a restaurant. The plastic box is slightly see through so you can ... Read the complete review

I saw this in Tesco and liked the neat blue plastic dispensor box it came in. You get 50m of floss for a low price compared to other branded dental flosses so it seemed like a bargain. Having just been to the dentist before I made this purchase I was told to floss as there were signs of plaque between some of my front teeth. The dentist said that after a few weeks of daily flossing this would disappear. Sadly, it's still there. The floss is easy to despatch but you can see the flaws in the product as soon as you start using it. It 'splinters' quite easy which causes it to stick between your teeth and so you end up using a lot more floss than ... Read the complete review
