At 10p for 300ml of shower gel, you can't really expect much of this shower gel. This is just as well, because it just does the basics, and not a lot more. I don't go in for fancy shower gels, with fragrance this and fragrance that. The only thing I do consider is the fact that my eczema sometimes flares up if I use a particular product. This ridiculously cheap shower gel was, unfortunately, one such product, but it took a while before it started getting bad, and until then, I was able to give a balanced opinion without this affecting it. In terms of packaging, it's not the most practical of bottle, although it will stand up provided you have a flat surface ... Read the complete review

When it comes to grooming and body care, I usually only want premium brands, at least those that are known quite well. The reason for this is because of the quality that is associated with the brand, furthermore the way in which the adverts portray them, it is more of a lifestyle rather than just a shampoo or hair conditioner. However, I have not been particularly keen on using expensive body care products whilst on holiday or travelling. This was due to an incident that happened a while back, it involve an entire toiletry bag of body care products going missing, I was obviously unset due to the fact that the cost of the contents were quite expensive. I never ... Read the complete review

We have just spent a weekend visiting my sister and her partner and whilst we were there we had a conversation about shopping which included the Tesco Value range. We were all agreeing that most of the products in the range were very good but a few, such as Cola, were to be avoided. My sister's partner told us that he bought Tesco Value Shower Gel costing 10p for 300ml. He said that providing you didn't have overly sensitive skin it was fine. I have to admit that I was very dubious as I usually use Radox or others of that sort of level if you see what I mean; to be honest I thought it would be like showering in cheap washing up liquid! Still, we had been told ... Read the complete review

I'm always on the look out for ways to save a few pennies, toileteries is not one of the items I normally scrimp on as my credit card statement will tell you I spent £32 on my latest trip to Lush on nice smelly goodies but when I saw the Tesco Value shower gel for just 10p I thought it was worth a try. For your 10p you get 300ml of bright blue shower gel in a flip top bottle. Theres no hanging hook for your shower but for 10p you can't really complain. It has the distinctive blue and red tesco value logo plastered over the front of the bottle which will show all the passing shoppers what a cheapskate you are. I've got to say I was really nervous ... Read the complete review

I have been checking out a lot of the value products here on dooyoo as I am trying to cut costs since my partner lost his job in March money is very tight. I used to buy a couple of the value products including the toilet roll, eggs, bin bags and washing up pads before hand but now I am value all the way when and where I can (without compromising too much on quality, if it does the job at a fraction of the price I am all for it. However if it is cheap and c**p then its still a waste of money) So it is great to look on here first to see if something is worth a try. After reading some of the reviews on the shower gel I decided to buy it on my next shop and try ... Read the complete review
