Advantages: its only 10p - it lathers up really well - it cleans you

Disadvantages: smells a bit like toilet cleaner but the smell doesnt last too long

I have been checking out a lot of the value products here on dooyoo as I am trying to cut costs since my partner lost his job in March money is very tight. I used to buy a couple of the value products including the toilet roll, eggs, bin bags and washing up pads before hand but now I am value all the way when and where I can (without compromising too much on quality, if it does the job at a fraction of the price I am all for it. However if it is cheap and c**p then its still a waste of money)

So it is great to look on here first to see if something is worth a try. After reading some of the reviews on the shower gel I decided to buy it on my next shop and try it for myself.

The bottle is a very basic design with the tesco value logo on (as with seen in pic) and is usually on the bottom shelf as they want to have the more expensive items at eye level. You get 300ml for 10p which lasts (is usable) once opened for 2yrs. The liquid is blue and has quite a thick consistency for the price I was expecting a really runny liquid.

I always use a shower 'scrunchie' to wash with so I squirted a good dollop of this on my scrunchie and was pleasently surprised at how much it lathered up - so far so good.

I did notice that it smelt a little bit like toilet cleaner (so was a bit dubious) but still it cleaned me and it was quite enjoyable to use and the scent was not too overpowering that it put me off.

After my shower I smelt myself to see if I smelt like a toilet but the scent had almost dissappeared with just a light 'fresh/clean' smell a bit like baby powder mixed with toilet cleaner. (at least i didnt smell of B.O)

Overall it lathered up well was easy to use and didnt irritate my sensitive skin. It didnt have the most appealing smell but much better than B.O.! At 10p it gets an extra star purely on value. There is no need for anyone to smell bad when you can buy shower gel for 10p!!!

Definately recommended it is worth 10p of anyones money (I might not use this all the time from now on but it is a good option if I have to)

Summary: A 10p shower gel can you really go wrong with that!
