Advantages: 5p!!! Cleans thoroughly, keeps your skin in tip top shape when used correctly.

Disadvantages: If your skin's finnocky and doesn't like it, you're stuck paying for the really really gentle stuff.

Alright, I want to set everyone who gave this a low review straight.

This soap costs 5p per bar. Yes, 5p. How on earth they can even transport the stuff for that price, who knows.

Ladies with your fancy products. SOAP is the way forward. Just try it. 15p. Hold your nose, and try it once. The original make-up remover. Give it a good rinse with warm, till there's nothing left, then finish with an invigorating splash of cold to naturally seal and moisturise.

I'll never forget the shock it caused on Richard and Judy way back when, (this is no joke) when they asked their skin model what product they used to keep themselves in such good condition. "What's your secret?" When she chirped up... oh just ordinary, plain soap. You should have seen their faces. Seriously, what did everyone do before L'Oreal? Must have been the soap then?

Got to love how TESCO are just so unexcited by soap they make it 15p for 3 bars of plain soap. Look at it in the aisle, and you might not give it the time of day. Indeed, I tried it on the basis that if it was muck I could happily bin it. This nearly ranks up there with my 90p 3% Hollandia beer from ASDA (may it rest in peace; damn you anti-cheap-alcohol dogooders!)

Now consider shower gel. A single bar of this soap lasts AT LEAST as long as a normal shower gel, and is far more effective at cleaning. Strangely enough it tends to leave (assuming you use it correctly) your skin in better condition, as it has very simple ingredients.

It's hardly earth shattering, and has barley any smell. There's not much to say about this soap, except that it's soap. Read the ingredients. Pretty much all the stuff that cleans you without the fancy smell.

On the plus side, it's not irritating to my skin. Of course, as with all soap you DO need to rinseit off very thoroughly.

Summary: Look, it's might just be ordinary plain soap. If you can use it there's a fortune to be saved here.
