Advantages: Extremely cheap, good quality, smooth texture, nice lather

Tesco Value Soap comes in cellophane wrapped packs of three, and each multipack is incredibly cheap at 13 pence, with each individual bar costing a little over four pence. The bars are standard sized, with individual dimensions of 9 cm by 5 cm by 3 cm approx, weighing 135 grams each.

The bars are only very mildly scented, however whilst very weak the smell is one that is both pleasant and fresh. Each bar has a smooth and creamy texture and creates a suitably thick lather, making the soap an ideal budget replacement for shower gel. Whilst a no-frills product Tesco Value Soap remains high in quality, and I dont think that I could tell the difference between this product and more expensive brand-name soaps such as Pearl and Imperial Leather. If you are looking for a good value soap but dont want to compromise on quality, then Tesco Value Soap is a perfectly adequate product that fits the bill nicely.

Summary: Just as good as some more expensive brands but far cheaper.
