One of my stocking fillers on Christmas day was a 50ml/45g pot of Almond Oil Hand Rescue Treatment from The Body Shop. Oh and yes you did read right, stocking filler. My future in-laws bought me a little stocking that they put a few bits in for me, how sweet! I am relatively new to hand cream but as the years roll on it becomes more and more necessary for me to use it. Up until now I have only used it sporadically when my hands were desperate. As I get closer to thirty I am finding it less of a rescue product and more of a constant maintenance one. That and I realise that if I don't look after my skin on my hands I will end up regretting it in the long ... Read the complete review

I was given this Almond Oil Hand Rescue Treatment (mouthful!!) as part of a gift. So upon writing my review I was a little stunned to find it cost £9.00!!! So, I thought I had outgrown the Body shop in my teens, as always used to be in there buying make-up and smellies in general, but as my income grew, so did my taste for expensive pots of goo. I am firmly back in love with The Body shop....and I have to say, its seriously not as cheap as I remember it as a teen working in a Shoe shop for £2.08 per hour!!!! So, this treatment hand cream, it comes in a screw top hard pot, a very sturdy pot, in a rich cream colour. It has a sticker on the top and ... Read the complete review

As an OCD sufferer, you can probably guess I am washing my hands constantly, on bad days to the point where they are very sore and dry from constantly stripping off the natural oils. This intensive hand rescue treatment has literally saved my hands from disintegrating. Always being a lover of Body Shop products, when I first saw this with the name 'Hand Rescue' it instantly caught my attention as I thought it would help my cause. Seeing that this product contained almond oil, which I already loved the smell of, and shea butter which is a known effective moisturiser, I promptly popped it into my basket. At nearly £9 for a 100ml pot, this is not a cheap hand ... Read the complete review

I have tried this product when i asked for a free sample instore, mostly for my other half that has dry skin, especially on his hands. And it was one of the only products that actually made a difference, with this evidence i brought it, costing £9 and the boy shop Moisturising gloves, costing me £7,. Alot i know but defo worth it. This product comes in a container of 100ml and is thicker then a hand lotion/ The key ingredients are: shea butter: which helps to soften the skin, Almond oil: helping to make the skin soft, smooth and moisturised. When applying you take a small amount into your hands then massage into hands and nails, ... Read the complete review

I absolutely love this hand cream. I bought this about 6 months ago for about £10 so not sure whether the price has gone up but I still have half a tub. I always use this hand cream after I wash my hands or when my hands are particularly dry. It hydrates the skin in an instance, leaving the skin soft and smooth. However, be careful not to put too much on otherwise it does get a little too greasy so I find slapping some on before bed at night is best to get super soft hands the next morning. The almond smell is quite overpowering but you do get use to it. But if you have particularly sensitive nose and can't sleep if a scent is too much, than don't use this before ...
