Advantages: Smell great, natural ingredients, not tested on animals, leaves skin soft and clean

Disadvantages: Expensive.

The Body Shop sells a variety of bath and shower gels, each a different scent. Many are available in either a travel sized bottle or a large bottle. Most of the shower gels are £2.40 for a travel sized 60ml bottle and £5.85 for a 250ml bottle. This is expensive compared to other brands, but the high quality makes up for this. These products are great for gifts and are often available in gift sets, especially around Christmas time.

The bath and shower gels come in transparent (clear) bottles so you can see the product inside, which is useful as you can therefore see how much of it you have left. Also on the bottles is the information about the products, and often a picture representing the scent of the product (for example, strawberries on the strawberry shower gel). The bath and shower gels do look very attractive and eye catching, making them more appealing to buy!

These products are used in the usual way for bath and shower gels, and they lather very well meaning you don't have to use too much of the product each time so it lasts longer. The bath and shower gels tend to smell very good, usually not "fake" and exactly like the fruit/scent they are supposed to. One example where it does smell slightly fake is the strawberry scented shower gel, but it still smells good! They also leave the fragrance on your skin for quite a while after using the product, and leave your skin feeling very clean and soft.

These products always contain natural ingredients, making them better quality and better for you skin. Usually they also support Community Trade, meaning the workers get paid a reasonable wage. Like every Body Shop product, these products haven't been tested on animals.

To conclude, these products are great and make brilliant presents for people. Even though they are expensive, they support good causes which, as well as the high quality of the products, means they are worth the money.
