I recently wrote a review of the Body Shop Cherry Lip Butter, I was very disappointed with that product but thought I would balance that review with a review of my Body Butter. My view of Body Butter couldn't be more different to my view of Lip Butter. I absolutely love Body Shop body butters and they are one of my first choice products for a body lotion. They are quite expensive at £12.00 (£12.20 now, I think) for a 200ml pot but I think it's worth it, and small travel sizes are available if you want to sample it before splashing out. I chose the Blueberry option as I loved the smell and the blue packaging, and this Body Butter was suitable for ... Read the complete review

I am a nightmare when it comes to Body Butters and Body Lotions, I always have about half a dozen on the go at any one time. The thing is I use the one that suits my mood each day. I soon get bored of a product like this if I use it day in day out so like to chop and change. This is one of the current choices I have open. This is a limited edition Body Butter currently on sale from The Body Shop and is half price so rather than being £12.00 it is now £6.00 for 200ml, which is a large tub. The packaging is a simple lilac blue screw top tub, which is an easy way of getting at the cream when you are using it. The label on the lid has a background of ... Read the complete review

Us women seem to develop a beauty routine quite early on in our lives don?t we? In the week I tend to not wear much make up unless I?m going out to a meeting or somewhere equally as boring for work but there is one thing that I do every morning as part of my post bath or shower ritual and that?s to apply body lotion. Back in the early Nineties as a young Mum with three children I developed dry patches on my knees which I?m sure were caused by knelling down to change the children when they were babies. I never seemed to have the time in those days to keep up with my beauty routine either as our lives seemed to be so ... Read the complete review

I have tried various body butters over the last few years, and the ones by The Body Shop are some of my favourites. There are a wide range of body butters available at The Body Shop, mostly in delicious, fruity flavours. They are quite expensive, at £12.00 for a tub containing 200g, but I have found that a little goes a long way, and you don't need to use much. The butter also feels very thick and creamy, so you feel that you are pampering yourself a little. I bought the blueberry body butter in the sale for half price, so it cost me £6.00, which isn't too bad. I found that it was really useful for all over body moisturising, and especially for very dry areas, ... Read the complete review

I received a small tub of this as a gift and I love the smell of blueberries so I was pretty excited. The smell is actually quite faint, it is nowhere near as strong as some of the other varieties of body butter like cranberry or coconut, and it does not linger for as long either. I found it more pleasant to apply than the cranberry, it seemed smoother and it is white, rather than a bright colour like some of the other kinds, which I preferred. It was not greasy and I really enjoyed using it although I would recommend using it before going to sleep as it can feel quite sticky under clothes. It is not brilliant on really dry skin, however.
