Advantages: Gorgeous smells, Community Trade ingredients, moisturises well
Disadvantages: It does seem expensive but it is worth it
Body Shop Body Butters come in a range of flavours inc. Mango, Coconut, Cocoa Butter, Passionfruit and Mango. They contain community Trade ingredients such as shea butter which means that by buying these products you are helping people in third world countries as The Body Shop pay these people a fair price for the ingredients.
The different butters are suitable for different skin types. Eg. Mango is for very dry skin but in my experience I find that people actually choose which they want by the smell which is one of the best things about these. As they do contain natural ingredients they do smell of what they are. Eg. satsuma does smell of satsuma and does not have an artificial smell. I have tried to choose a favourite but I really cant. It depends on my mood really. Sometimes I like a sweet smell and so go for Cocoa Butter but sometimes I want something more fruity and zesty and Pink Grapefruit is ideal.
The butters come in brightly coloured tubs with a picture of what kind it is on the front. Information about what Community Trade ingredients are used are on a sticker on the bottom. For a 200g pot it costs £14 which seems quite expensive ast first but you really do get what you pay for as not only is the quality very good but you are helping people in poorer countries.
The instructions say to pat on skin and then rub in. You only need to use small amount and it is easily rubbed in. It mositurises really well and most importantly it lasts through out the day
Summary: Excellent Moisturisation and Delicious Smells
