Sweet smelling scrub (The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Scrub)
Member Name: emmi2009
Advantages: Good consistency for exfoliating Disadvantages: Leaves residue in bath or shower The Body Shop scrubs are some of the best around! This cocoa butter one has a delicious chocolatey smell to it and the perfect consistency for exfoliating without scratching your skin or drying it out whilst also giving silky smooth legs. This one in particular is really creamy with small exfoliating particles of of ground rice and almond. As with most Body Shop products this product supports community trade projects where they soure their ingredients and this particular product contains community traded cocoa butter. It comes in a 200ml tub which only lasts me about two weeks but then i exfoliate qute regularly especially when i've been using a wash off fake tan the night before and i find these scrubs get them off without leaving my legs streaky. I only buy them when they are on offer as i think they are a little pricey in relation to how long they last but still a fabulous product. My only gripe is that the exfoliating particles get left behind in the shower or bath afterwards which means i have to clean it every time i exfoliate! You could get away without using a moisturiser with this product but i always moisturise after a bath or shower out of habit anyway. Summary: Good product for getting rid of flaky skin |
