Advantages: Exfoliates well, smells great
Disadvantages: Use a lot at a time
Price: £4.85 for 50ml
£12.20 for 200ml
From: The Body Shop
For: Exfoliating dry skin
The packaging is nice and looks high quality. It's a clear plastic tub with a brown screw-on lid. It's easy to open when you want to use it but it fastens nice and tightly so there's no worries about leaks or spills.
It's easy to use as you just dip your fingers in the pot to get some of the scrub out, but to be honest I'd prefer a tube or bottle as I find them more hygienic.
The product is a thick cream with a lot of exfoliating grains in it, it's really packed full of them. The scent is really rich cocoa butter with a slight sweet edge to it, but it's not too strong or overpowering.
It does not feel too harsh, but you can feel it working to smoothen the skin. I do find I use quite a lot of it at a time even though there are a lot of grains in it, because the creaminess of it makes it sink into the skin before you can cover a large area with it.
After using it my skin feels really smooth and soft, and all signs of dry skin are diminished. It leaves the skin nicely scented all day long too.
All in all a good body scrub.
Thumbs up form me.
