Advantages: Cleans and moisturises
Disadvantages: Effects not long term
Price: £2.40 for 60ml
£5.85 for 250ml
From: The Body Shop
For: Cleansing and moisturising dry skin types.
The packaging is clean, plain and simple, but high quality. It's a plastic bottle with a press top lid, which is secure and doesn't leak or spill easily, but is easy to use.
The product is a creamy lotion with a fairly thick texture. The scent is a lot like marzipan or almond, rather than the usual cocoa butter smell, and much sweeter.
It doesn't really lather at all if you use it just on your hands, but with a shower puff it creates a sufficient amount of thick, creamy lather to be able to wash easily with. It feels smooth and silky on the skin as you use it, and it rinses off easily.
It leaves the skin feeling clean, well moisturised and really smooth and silky, and I don't feel I need to use a lotion afterwards. This feeling lasts a good few hours, but it does not feel as though it has continuous and long-term moisturising effects.
All in all a good body wash.
Thumbs up from me.
