Advantages: Silky feeling bubbles, delicious scent, ethically sourced

Disadvantages: Only available in large bottles online

I received a small (100ml) size bottle of this in amongst my christmas gifts, it came with a matching coconut body wash and a small shower puff with which to apply it. I love most things body shop so was looking forward to using it but because 9 times out of 10 I have a shower it has taken until now for me to try out this foaming bath cream.

I tipped some in while the bath was running, only to return a few minutes later to find mounds of bubbles, evidently less is more with this stuff although looking at the bottle and how much was remaining, I seemed to have inadvertantly pooured around a quarter in to the bath, about 25ml or so. This was more than enough for my bath!

The smell in my bathroom was delicious though - so no complaints there! I actually noticed this morning that my bathroom still smells of the coconut which is nice.

The bubbles this produced were rich and the water in the bath took on a milky haze (probably because I tipped so much in!). The nice thing was though that when I got out of the bath the smell of coconut also lingered on my skin and it seemed to have made my usually very dry skin feel quite soft.

I used the body wash too while I was in the bath so had something of a coconut overdose, all in all I am very impressed with both but the luxurious feel of the silky bubbles this produced was quite indulgent and it will most definitely be something I treat myself to again.

This contains cocoa butter which probably explains why it is so softening on the skin. The Body Shop website confirms that this is ethically sourced and fair trade - but you wouldn't expect anything less from the Body Shop would you!?

On the website they only sell this in a large (400ml) bottle so I think the size I have must be only as part of gift packs. To be honest though, as a treat I would definitely invest in the large bottle which costs £7.80 on the website. If you are a love your body member you get 10% off anyway and £5 roughly every quarter anyway - so this could be acquired even cheaper.

Great as a present too, I would definitely be pleased if I got some of this, highly recommended!

Summary: Great indulgent product - go on, treat yourself!
