      Advantages

      Disadvantages

One I will be buying again, I think its great stuff this one!

I have been writing a few reviews on here lately about The Body Shop products. This is because quite late on in life I've become converted to some of the wonderful products people have been raving about on here!

Intially I was drawn in to the store by big sale signs up in the window and I snapped up loads of stuff reduced and got myself a stock pile. However I did at the same time buy a couple of full price items as a treat for myself and my bathroom and have since been going in regulary now to gets bits and bobs as in Weston Super Mare we severly lack decent stores!

Ive used a couple of the body lotions and creams from here of late and when I took a sniff at this body lotion decided to get it for myself. For £7.50 for 200ml of the product I do think its pricey but I was pleased with all the other stuff I tried out in the range and I did need something lightly moisturising for my skin that smelt good as well!

      The Packaging:

Well like I have already mentioned this comes in a 200ml sized bottle and thats the only size this is available to purchase in. It has a lever arm style dispenser to the top of it you simply push to get some lotion out of and on the front of the bottle we are told what it is and who it is made by and then on the back of the bottle theres little information given but we are given contact details for The Body Shop. I like the packaging of this though do find the lever arm a little flimsy but it does work and you can turn it off and on so if you want to take it anywhere with you it doesn't go all over the show!

      The Body Lotion Itself:

The reason I opted for a body lotion instead of a thicker pot of cream (butter) is that I simply wanted a quick drying, gentle moisturiser that had a nice scent to it that I could use on a daily basis if I wanted to. This white liquid is just that thankfully.

It has a lovely fragrance of what The Body Shop refer to as white flowers. Not too heavy, not one bit powdery and with a deep and rich cederwood smell to it...I really do like this one and once applied that lovely fragrance stays put lingering on the skin for a good few hours which I appreciate.

This gives lightweight hydration so it isn't heavy and its a thin lotion to apply so no real effort is required to use it. Its also none greasy so a little of it goes a very long way indeed and I simply apply it to my clean skin.

This doesn't agitate my sensitve skin at all and I can even apply straight after shaving. This leaves no residue on my skin sticky or otherwise and really does make my skin feel softer and smoother, not just when I've applied it but now even when I don't apply it my skin feels softer and smoother in general and just in good condition really.

Easy to apply and unfussy I really do like this one. When I bought it I did feel the price was a little on the steep side but to be fair this is not only an ethical product with a lot of through gone into it but its a quality one that is kind to my skin and as a little of it goes a very long way indeed it does last absolutely so in my opinion it is worth every penny!

        Dreams Unlimited Body Lotion

Ever since I got a sample of The Body Shops Dreams Unlimited Body Butter in a magazine as a free gift during the sumer I was hooked on the beautiful, unusual fragrance so I went a bit crazy in the Body Shop and got the whole range, the body lotion, the body wash and some eau de parfum.

The body lotion comes in a bottle with a pump action on the top so I use it in my kitchen to apply to my hands after I have done the washing up. Like I've said above its the scent that really drew me to this lotion. The Body Shop describe it as a fresh, white floral fragrance with a fusion of citrus, green chilli, white flowers and cedar wood notes. I would describe it as quite a summery, beach smell and I think it's quite different to the usual smells you find in the Body Shop or anywhere else for that matter.

The lotion is quite light, a lot lighter than the body butter but it still gives your hands a really nice coverage and makes my hands really quite soft. This can be used as a all over body lotion too but I tend to stick to using it on my hands. You don't need very much, just one or two squirts of the pump will give you enough to cover your hands and provide your skin with some nice hydration.

The bottle that this lotion comes in is quite nice looking too. It is a white plastic bottle with Dreams Unlimited written on the front. At the bottom of the bottle there is really nice purple and blue coloured pattern that gives the bottle a nice bit of colour. The bottle comes in a 200ml size and costs £7.50 which is a bit expensive for a body lotion in my opinion but the smell more than makes up for that.
