Advantages: Effective if used correctly.
Disadvantages: Orange and stripey if not!
My initial attractin to this product was the fact that it smelt of fresh watermelons.. ..how WRONG I was! When the tan developed, it smelt awful and it was obvious to others that I had faked it....NOT the idea of fake tan! The first time I applied the product was with my bare hands, and after a severe scrub afterwards....I still ended up with orange palms.HOW embarrassing!I also found that the tan was streaky and had an extremely orange glow to it.I paid 8 pounds for my 250ml bottle so was determined to get my use out of it.So...I bought a tan mit for 3pounds from Body shop and this completely evened out the colour. It was streakless and i was also able to apply two coats , which gave a wonderful, even, bronze tan. The tan had extremely good staying power and remained in tact even after several baths(considering you alow your skin to dry naturally and without rubbing). I always find that it is best to apply a thin layer of moisturiser before applying the tan as it adds to the 'even' effect! If I see any waking, talking carrots, I'll just KNOW you didnt use the mit!
