I received this a part of a gift for my birthday, and I must admit that whilst I do love Body Shop products, shower gel is just not something I would normally spend over the odds on, so I would never have bought this for myself. It costs £2.40 for a travel-sized 60ml bottle, or £5.85 for the full-sized 250ml bottle.

It comes in a clear plastic bottle, so you can always see how much you have left. The lid has a flip up top which fastens tightly enough to leave it in a bag and take travelling with you without worrying about spillage.

The shower gel is a pale pink colour and it has a fairly thick texture which makes it feel quite luxurious to use and also means that you don't need to use too much at once, so it lasts twice as long as runnier shower gels I've used. The scent is gorgeous, a really fresh and uplifting pink grapefruit fragrance, which is not too fake smelling or overpowering.

It lathers up really well and produces a thick, soft lather which feels really soft and lovely against the skin. The scent also gets stronger as you lather it up, so the whole bathroom ends up smelling gorgeous and fruity.

After using it my skin feels really fresh, clean, and soft. Whilst I don't think it actively moisturises my skin, it doesn't strip the moisture from my skin like many shower gels do, so it's still left feeling soft, smooth and hydrated, rather than dry or tight.

I really did like this shower gel, but it's still something I would not spend that amount of money on for myself, so I think the Body Shop shower gels are something I will be asking for at Christmas and birthdays until I've tried out every different scent!
