... butters which cost £12.50 for the 200ml. So it is not a good value for money, but I have to admit that the tub it comes in is much better than that of the hand protector and more compact than the body butter tubs. The major problem is that you expect it to be more moisturising than the hand cream, obviously because the feet need more protection than the hands, but it isn't. It is described as being: "Packed full of hemp seed oil, glycerine and beeswax for extreme moisturisation." And this is exactly wh...more

It's that time of year again .....no, not getting ready for the latest Big Brother contestants to enter the house and try to become famous for being, well, urm, who knows or cares....., but Summer has arrived. We, the Great British public aim to make the most of our measly summer by baring legs that have been hidden away for months - white with a hint of blue - wearing strappy tops showing muffin top bellies that have been lovingly cultivated over winter, and topping off the look with flip flops and sandals. Lily white legs can be solved with some tinted moisturiser or one of the ever increasing range of self tan products. Muffin tops will take a little more ...  Read the complete review

After trying the Body Shop Hemp hand protector and absolutely loving it because it worked so well I decided to try their foot protector. I am prone to hard skin on my feet so was hoping this would work well and I wasn't disappointed. Like I've mentioned on the review for the hand cream Hemp is from the Old English hænep, is the common name for plants of the entire genus Cannabis, although the term is often used to refer only to Cannabis strains cultivated for industrial (non-drug) use. The actual strain they use for the drugs is different and this strain is known for its many industrial and nutritional uses. Initially I was a bit worried as I ...  Read the complete review

Rough dry skin on the feet, it is uncomfortable to say the very least and if it splits it can be very painful. Another thing that really annoys me is that every time I put a new pair of tights on the rough skin catches in the nylon tights and ladders them. I am sure that many of us spend long periods stood on our feet, then we tend to forget to look after them. We apply cream to our hands because they are permanently on show and we forget all about our feet because they spend most of their life hidden away inside of our shoes. We have a great Body Shop in the city and of course if we go shopping then I will call in and take a look around, I always like to ...  Read the complete review

The Body Shop Hemp Foot Protector (100ml) Having tried and loved the Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop, this product was a disappointment for me. You take a look at it in the tub and it looks creamy so you don't mind paying £9.75 for the 100ml size. But, thinking about the price, you will find it is almost twice as expensive as the hand protector and even more expensive than the body butters which cost £12.50 for the 200ml. So it is not a good value for money, but I have to admit that the tub it comes in is much better than that of the hand protector and more compact than the body butter tubs. From the massive Hemp range at The Body Shop, this product is just what you need coming in to summer, to get fantastically smooth and gorgeous feet, ready for breaking out the flip flops. This comes in a tub (rather like a Body Butter) which contains 100ml of cream. This is not as portable as the hand tube of hand protector, but it is less likely to be something you want to reapply through the day. At £9.75 this isn't cheap but it does really work and unless you are scooping it on the pot will last 6 weeks plus. The smell is great and does remind me of incense!! It is not a feminine or masculine smell particularly. The cream is ...  Read the complete review
