The Body Shop Hemp Foot Protector
(100ml)
Having tried and loved the Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop, this product was a disappointment for me. You take a look at it in the tub and it looks creamy so you don't mind paying £9.75 for the 100ml size. But, thinking about the price, you will find it is almost twice as expensive as the hand protector and even more expensive than the body butters which cost £12.50 for the 200ml. So it is not a good value for money, but I have to admit that the tub it comes in is much better than that of the hand protector and more compact than the body butter tubs.
The major problem is that you expect it to be more moisturising than the hand cream, obviously because the feet need more protection than the hands, but it isn't. It is described as being: "Packed full of hemp seed oil, glycerine and beeswax for extreme moisturisation." And this is exactly what you think when you see how creamy it is or even when you massage it into your feet because it is very smooth and it feels nice on the skin. Still, it is not very moisturizing, or at least not moisturizing enough for the extremely dry skin as they mention on it. I have tried several body butters from the Body Shop that give more moisture and definitely cost less, like the almond and coconut ones.
Give it a miss!
