Advantages: Lovely, light formulation of body lotion, quickly absorbed, gives soft to the touch skin

Disadvantages: Flimsy packaging that could be alot better!

Up until recently I have never been a fan of The Body Shop. I like the ethics behind things i.e being cruelty free and kind to the earth and so on, however over the years lots of ranges have popped up offering similar things at usually a cheaaper price in allsorts of stores.

However in Weston Super Mare we lack shops and as the months roll by we lose more of them. Basically when it comes to toiletries we have Superdrug, Boots and The Body Shop and of course supermarkets and so on but no LUSH! I would never have gone into The Body Shop a couple of weeks back, its ust wouldnt have crossed my mind but big red and white sale boards hanging in the window enticed me in! However I did end up buying rather a few products that were on sale but of course ended up buying rather a few of things that were not included in the sale, including this one (which of course is their plan lol). I did feel it was pricey at £8.00 for a 250ml sized bottle however I liked the fragrance of it and when I tested it on my arm liked the moisturation it give me which lasted ages!

The Product:

Well like I have already said it comies in a 250ml sized bottle and that bottle is a clear plastic one with a little arm to the top of it which is the push button dispenser and a bit flimsy really for the price it costs so I have to be gentle with it. On the front of the bottle we are told what it is, who it is by and the size (as I have listed already) then on the back of the bottle contact details for The Body Shop are given and not much else. I like the fact I can see the product through the bottle though so I can see when I need a restock!

Using It:

Basically you just apply this at any time of day and whenever you want to. This is a light formulation of a body lotion and is runnyish and not too thick at all. Its a peachy colour and smells wonderfully of exotic sweet mangoes which is what drew me to it in the first place as it is a fruity, summery scent and really lovely.

A little of this goes a very long way indeed as on contact with the skin it is initially a bit greasy but dries very quickly indeed. I can't feel any residue as such on my skin but skin is left feeling supple, smooth and fragranced for hours.

I like the way that this makes my skin feel, sort of moisturised from the inside out and I like the ease of use this has to it being so easily absorbed.

Yes £8.00 seems a lot to fork out for a simple moisturiser but my skin thanks me for it and I would certainly treat myself to a bottle of this in the future when finances allow of course!
