Advantages: Smells nice
Disadvantages: The smell can get a bit overpowering
I got this body lotion as part of a set for Christmas so I have no idea of the cost. The one I have is in a small 60ml plastic bottle and is made by The Body Shop. It has a flip top lid that makes it easy to get to the lotion and on the back of the bottle it states that the products aren't tested on animals.
The lotion has a very strong smell to it that whaffs out almost as soon as you open the lid. I would say that it's quite over powering at first until your little nose gets used to it!
The lotion comes out of the bottle very easily and you will see that it's a creamy, white colour. The consistency is middle of the road really which I quite like. I am not a lover of really thick creams that take ages to rub into the body but then again I hate runny creams that end up all over the carpet rather than on your body. This one stays in your hand but doesn't fall everywhere when you start to rub it in.
The cream soaks into the skin extremely quickly and before you know it you are left with silky smooth arms, legs etc. I find that it doesn't leave a residue behind and is definitely not greasy at all. Once you have rubbed it in, it's gone and that's that, you can get your clothes on without having to worry about the stuff drying.
I like to rub it into most of my body parts after a shower. It does smell quite strong so I don't tend to use it after a shower at night time because I wouldn't be able to get to sleep because of the smell. It's not horrible in any way but it's just very noticeable and I think you could get away without wearing any perfume.
I would definitely recommend this cream and if you like it then you can buy bigger bottles or you can go for the perfume in this range instead.
Summary: A nice lotion
