... £7.80 from The Body Shop. I'm sure if I just used any generic body lotion on the soles of my feet, I would have the exact same results, so this does seem somewhat overpriced. Overall, this was a little bit of a let down for me, and reminded me why I don't like the Body Shop! The smell was OK, and it did moisturise my feet slightly, but the overall effects were pretty poor, and I would not buy it again or recommend it to others....more

Premium Review The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion: Great for Feet When You're Not Flopping About (839 words)
by - written on 01/06/08 (Very useful, 109 readings)
Rating:

For most people who suffer from tired feet there seems to be a lot of products out there that promise and prescribe traditional ingredients to new technological cures that alleviate painful feet. And some products are dressed up in expensive packaging to add insult to the injury of sore hooves not to mention ingredients likely to confuse and question the owner. So it comes as a welcome surprise to find this product unashamedly trapped in Body Shop's default recycled plastic bottles (the late, Great Anita Broderick would be happy) containing this "Cooling Peppermint Feet" Lotion. It wasn't a cheap option however, and those thinking that the Body Shop offers ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A poor peppermint product (492 words)
by - written on 13/02/09 (Very useful, 193 readings)
Rating:

I bought this foot lotion ages ago when I had a money off coupon for the Body Shop. I must admit I am not a Body Shop fan. Although I have been pleased with some of my past purchases, I generally find the products to be overpriced for what they are- and this coming from me, a Lush fan! I chose to buy this foot lotion as I didn't have one at the time, and didn't want to just go for another shower gel, soap or bubble bath, as I have so many of them already. The foot lotion comes in a clear bottle through which you can se the pale pink lotion, and is pretty unremarkable really with it's bright green label and footprint design. The lotion is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion: A minty play-dough smelling lotion for feet (213 words)
by - written on 28/10/08 (Very useful, 28 readings)
Rating:

Initially, you would think that this peppermint foot lotion would be green, wouldn't you? However it is not, the colour is a light pinky, purple contained in a see-through bottle with a blue label stating many things in a wide variety of languages. If you open the bottle up and take a deep sniff of this lotion, the first smell that is detected by my senses is a kind of play-dough scent with a hint of mint! This smell is a little strange, but when applied to your tired and well used feet, it makes them feel fresh and rejuvinated. The only downside to applying this nice lotion to your feet, is that you have to wait for a while to let the stuff soak ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Party Feet a ready! (209 words)
by - written on 21/01/09 (Very useful, 30 readings)
Rating:

After attending a Body Shop party and spending an small fortune on their products, I purchased this product after suffering from tired and flaky feet. A result of wearing high heels! At the party I was advised to use the product after exfoliating and then put on their moisture socks (I used my own!). The bottle is transparent and displays the product to be pink although mint itself is green! I heard a story at my party that the concern was that green may put some customers off, especially as a lotion! So I would prefer it to be pink. When you open the bottle you get a whiff of peppermint and the first impression is that the scent is quite strong. ...  Read the complete review
