The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Lotion

Description: Brand: The Body Shop / Type: Foot Cream / Moisturiser / Minty balm for refreshing and soothing feet.

... although quite strong is not overpowering. It feels really cooling when applied to the feet, so it's really good to use on tired, aching feet. It's refreshing and cooling as well as feeling silky and moisturising. You don't need to use a great deal of it at once, because of the thin texture a little goes a long way. It does take a while to sink in, but I find this is the same with all foot creams, possibly just because the skin on the feet is thicker than on other areas of the body and takes longer to absorb produ...more

Premium Review The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Lotion: Softens, Cools and Refreshes (469 words)

My feet do get rather dry at times, nothing too bad but I decided to try this to soften them. I use it along with other products in the range such as the foot scrub and cooling spray. This lotion is used by people running the London Marathon every year. The bottle is clear plastic with a flip top lid. The lotion needs to be squeezed out and this can be quite hard so give the bottle a few gentle shakes but be careful that too much doesn't come out. The label is blue and has The Body Shop logo on it with a footprint and "Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion." It is quite a pretty blue and rather eye catching. The cream itself is a pretty ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review My sweet feet (889 words)

All year round I have my feet showing for some reason. In the summer I like to wear sandals all the time, and this time of year I like to wear strappy little shoes to go out in. There has to be nothing worse than having dry cracked feet that look nasty and horrible. I think I have a thing about going out without making a mega effort to look my best. For my feet, I have a foot spa, loads of nail polish and foot lotions. I think that if your feet are going to be on show, then you need to make some effort to make them look nice ? a bit like if you were going to wear a little skirt you would not go out with gorilla legs but shave them! (Well, I would) ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Lotion: No more stinky, tired feet! (379 words)

In my teens i seemed to live in the Body Shop. I must have tried everything in there, and ten years on there are only a handful of products i still use. This is one of them. What Body Shop say it will do: They say it will soften and revive rough and tired skin with a skin soothing moisturiser. They say it is suitable for all skin types. It contains lanolin, cocoa butter and peppermint as they key active ingredients. How do i apply it? I give my feet a good soak in some warm water. Then i use my ped egg to remove any rough skin. The peppermint foot lotion is just smoothed on afterwards. I do this before i go to bed. If im being super good ...  Read the complete review

**A bit of the history and an overview** The Body Shop was born in 1976 - the brainchild and the passion of Anita Roddick. The vision was to provide good quality cosmetic products without compromising her ethical beliefs, making sure that producers were treated fairly, that the environment was disrupted as little as possible, and that the consumers could buy goods that had not been tested on animals (quite unusual at the start), at a reasonable price, thereby feeling that not only were they able to feel good as a result of the goods they were buying, but also to feel good in "giving something back". The Body Shop is now part of the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Lotion: Fragrant happy feet. (460 words)

There's a whole alternative therapy devoted to the importance of feet. Reflexology largely deals with the way in which feet influence the rest of the body. If your feet feel good, you feel better, if on the other hand, your feet are tired, sore and uncomfortable, you feel much worse. Healthy feet are good not only in their own right, but also for your general wellbeing. One of the best foot care products I have ever encountered is Body Shop's Peppermint Foot Lotion. It contains peppermint oil, menthol, almond oil and cocoa butter to ease tired toes. What do you get: Standard Body Shop sized pots, the smallest being 60ml, going up to 250ml, in ...  Read the complete review
