Advantages: Smells great, cools and refreshes instantly, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: Quite expensive.
The Body Shop's Peppermint Cooling Foot lotion is used to moisturise and cool feet, whilst leaving them smelling of mints! For a 250ml bottle it costs £6.24 currently, but usually costs £7.80. It is also available in a smaller, travel size 60ml bottle.
The product's appearance is very appealing. It comes in a clear bottle, allowing you to see the very light pink product inside. The bottle has a lid which clicks tightly shut, so it doesn't leak. On the bottle is a blue label, with information about the product on, as well as a light blue/green footprint in the background, which is very attractive.
The product is used by simply massaging it in all over the underside of your feet. As soon as it touches the skin it cools it and just feels great! It smells really good too, very minty but not too strong. It makes your feet feeling very soft, moisturised and generally refreshed, as well as leaving them smelling great too for quite a while after use.
The product is quite a thick consistency, meaning it goes further and lasts longer.
As it is a Body Shop product, not only has it not been tested on animals, but it also contains natural products which makes it better for you. These include: Community Trade peppermint oil (to fight the odour-causing bacteria and cool the feet), Community Trade cocoa butter (to moisturise) and almond and grapeseed oil (also for moisturisation). The Community Trade ingredients mean the product is also good for the welfare of the workers.
To conclude, this is a great product which does exactly what it says on the bottle and I would recommend it to anyone who wants soft, fresh feet.
Summary: A great product.
