Advantages: delicious fragrance

Disadvantages: slightly greasy, cost

The body shop is my favourite place for body products and so I have bought many products from here. One of the ones I love Is the pink grapefruit body butter.

This can only be found in the body shop as it is exclusive to them however equivalents can be found in shops such as Lush and Boots as well as supermarkets own! In my opinion though none live up to the Body Shop version.
The product can be found alongside all the other butters including flavours such as strawberry, olive, tangerine, passion fruit and mango. They can also be bought in packages with other body butters, or packages with various products in the pink grapefruit flavour.

The butter comes in a nice pink tub. Personally I don't think it's an overly attractive colour of pink however it is nice enough and can be spotted easily enough on the shelf. The particular one I have is 50ml however it does come in smaller tubs, or larger tubs. The one I bought was £4.85. I find this is quite expensive for a body butter of this size however the quality is so good so it makes up for it definitely.

The pot is very attractive. On the front is a sticker with the product information on it. Obviously there is the body shop logo as well as what the product actually is. There is also lovely looking pictures of grapefruit. The picture is of a large grapefruit which has been cut in half. The inside of the fruit looks lovely and bright and really quite sensual! However it doesn't look tasty or tempting, but instead resemble a piece of beauty, something you'd want to rub all over your skin. I found this really special and intriguing.

It is easy to open the pot as you simply have to unscrew the lid. You are then met by the butter. The cream is a very pale pink colour. It looks quite lovely and actually resembles a runny version of angel delight! It is an appealing colour and I couldn't wait to use it! It looks smooth and fills up about 3 quarters of the pot, or maybe slightly less. Often the butter is all to one side but this just depends on how it has been sitting.

The smell of this is gorgeous. It smells very fruity and resembles Satsuma amazingly. It actually smells like you are sniffing the fruit itself there in the flesh. It is a strong, almost sharp smell but has a nice sweetness to it too! Gorgeous fragrance. If you have ever had the starburst sweets in the pink packet, the strawberry flavour, then this smells EXACTLY like the pink grapefruit one in the pink wrapper!!

It is easy to apply to the skin and rubs in really well. It makes your skin very smooth but this only lasts for a few hours. The smell makes you appear very fruity too! This one was a bit greasy though and I had to wash my hands thoroughly afterwards.

Overall this is one of my favourite fragrances and I'd definitely recommend it!!!
