I had been pondering as to whether I should purchase the Body Shop's famous body butter or not- though I had heard many great things about it from friends, it was still a little bit expensive than other cocoa butters. However, the delicious smells of the samples soon drew me in and before I knew it I was deciding which flavour body butter to actually buy.

I was crossed between the exotic fragrance of the mango one as opposed to the delicious one of raspberry- not too sweet like strawberry and not too fragrant like almond. Finally, after moments of indecision, I settled on the raspberry one, and I was delighted with my purchase.

Some views on it:

- The body butter smelled, and still smells delicious; the fragrance is long lasting, though not completely out there and over the top like perfume and at the end of a busy day I would come home still smelling of raspberries

- As a body butter, it performed its job exceedingly well- it nourished dry skin whereas not being greasy and a small amount was sufficient for its purpose

- It is definitely worth the price I paid for it, as it has lasted me longer than most body butters and moreover it does a much better job

In conclusion, I would highly recommend this product- it has a beautiful smell, and is wonderful as a body butter on the whole. If you are not a frequent user of body butter, then there are smaller pots available for purchase that would better suit your use- these are good for travelling as well. Body shop is one of my favourite stores and it has never failed to impress me.
