I bought several products from The Body Shop about five months ago and Raspberry Shower Gel was one of them; unfortunately this product was discontinued in UK afterwards. Still, it can be bought either from other countries where it is still available like the United States or from Ebay as is the case with many other discontinued products from the Body Shop. You can buy it at the moment for £6.25 - £7.70 which is not cheap, but not a rip off as well considering that shower gels are sold for £5-85 - £7.80 from the store.

Like all kinds of fruity shower gels from The Body Shop, this one comes in a simple plastic bottle with a picture of raspberries along with all the information you need to know. The first thing you notice when you open the bottle is definitely the amazing smell of raspberry jam. Having tried The Body Shop Raspberry Scrub before, I thought they were smelled fantastic but still were very different.

Top notes: orange zest, raspberry
Middle notes: wild strawberry, pomegranate
Base Notes: crystallized ginger, vanilla bean

When I tried it for the first time I was worried it would be drying, for it is for normal skin, but thankfully it was not. The shower gel is soap free, lathers well and leaves you feeling very refreshed mostly because of the great scent. They claim that both raspberry extract and organic honey are used in this shower gel as moisturizers, and I know even when they use natural ingredients they use them in very small amounts, but something in this shower gel did the trick and it ended up being not drying. However, unlike the scent of the raspberry scrub, this one did not linger long on my skin; probably less than 15 minutes unfortunately. Still, this is one of the best shower gels I have tried, and if you like raspberry and don't mind buying from Ebay, it is definitely recommended.
