Advantages: Smells great, and feels hydrating.

Disadvantages: Price.

I know I don't need ANY more creams, but there is always this really good deal and the product smells SO good that I cant resist, etc etc...

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter is one of those products, from the moment I first smelt it I was entranced. I love the smell of citrus but orange or lemon is just so dull, Satsuma gave it the zest and zing that had been missing!

This cream comes in the standard body butter tub, with the screw on lid, very handy but not the most hygienic as if too many fingers are dipped in it can look a little iffy.

The color of the tub is a vibrant yellow/orange, but the actual cream has more of a peach tint.
The consistency like all of the Body Shop's butters is just heavenly, instantly absorbing, hydrating, smooth and silky.
I personally don't find it greasy at all even though the name Butter can be misleading, I find that this absorbs well and just leaves a silky feeling behind, there is of course some initial stickiness but it doesn't last very long.

The smell doesn't last for more then a hour or so, but if you team it up with the spray then it can go further.

All together I really liked this cream which I bought on sale, but at the full price of 12 pounds it is a bit on the pricey side.

You can buy this in the Body Shop stores or online, in either the 50ml tub for 4.85 pounds or 200ml tub for 12.20 pounds.

Ingredients:
Aqua (Water) (Solvent/Diluent), Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter) (Emollient), Cyclomethicone (Emollient), Glycerin (Humectant), Citrullus vulgaris (Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Seed Oil) (Skin Conditioning Agent), Glyceryl Stearate (Emulsifier), PEG-100 Stearate (Surfactant), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier), Lanolin Alcohol (Stabiliser/Emollient), Parfum (Fragrance), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Theobroma cacao (Cocoa Butter) (Emollient), Methylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative), Xanthan Gum (Viscosity Modifier), Citrus reticulata (Fragrance Ingredient), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Citral (Fragrance Ingredient), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), Citrus dulcis (Orange Oil) (Fragrance/Essential Oil), Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient), Geraniol (Fragrance Ingredient), CI 19140 (Colour), CI 14700 (Colour).

Summary: If you like citrus smells then give this a try.

This is lovely but I don't think you need the full ingredients list in your review. I don't think most of us understand them anyway LOL! Susan
