Nice fragrance and great for all skin - not just dry skin (The Body Shop Shea Body Butter)

Advantages: Leaves skin nice and soft - not greasy at all

I've tried several of the other Body Shop 'Body Butter' products before, in a variety of fragrances, and have always found them excellent at moisturising dry skin, but with slightly overpowering fragrances.

I tried this Shea Body Butter as it came free with Marie Claire Magazine, and it's rapidly become a favourite beauty product. The version I have is a small 50ml tub, which can be purchased for just under £5, but it also comes in a larger tub. The small size is ideal for carrying in a handbag or taking to the gym etc though.

The product is excellent, not only for dry skin (which is what it's marketed as) but for everyone. It soaks in quickly, not leaving your skin feeling greasy, but leaving skin soft to the touch.

I've also found it's great for moisturising slightly sunburned skin, it's very soothing and doesn't cause irritation at all. I normally have quite sensitive skin, but as with most Body Shop products this suits me well.

It's nice that the product contains a number of fair-trade ingredients, and comes with the usual Body Shop claim not to be tested on animals.

Summary: Highly recommended - nice fragrance and great moisturiser
