The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish

I've tried a few products from the Body Shop's strawberry range now, and on the whole I must admit I have not been impressed. Recently I was buying a gift for someone and had a voucher to get £5 off when spending £20. As the gift was £17 it made sense to get something to take it over the £20 mark, so I chose a travel sized tube of this product costing £3.90 although with the voucher it was effectively free. Juice It is the name of a range of products within The Body Shop. The particular item I am reviewing is the Juice It Strawberry & Red Berries Exfoliating Body Wash. According to the tube this body scrub is: "a blend of natural juices, powdered walnut shell & rosehip oil to polish and smooth your skin". The product comes in a squeezy tube, containing 150ml of the gel. The tube is tinted pink towards the top but becomes transparent towards the bottom where you can see the actual product inside. Every year without fail one of my friends or family will buy me a Body Shop gift set. I've been lucky enough to have received a couple of strawberry ones in the past, both of which have included a 75ml tube of this body polish. Although 75ml does't sound like a lot, the tube is actually a reasonable size, and as you don't need to use a lot of the product it will last you a reasonable length of time. Obviously it depends how frequently you use the product, but you should be able to get at least a months use out of it. I really like the Body Shop products. I was very happy when I opened my stocking at Christmas and found this strawberry body polish in there! I have the body polish in the 200ml size. The tube is made of clear, soft plastic. It comes with a flip top lid so it is really easy to open and close. I have found though, that it seems to shut quite tightly, so sometimes it is quite an effort to actually flip it open and I have to get my nail in between the lid and the tube to help. I got this product as part of a set and have just finished using it - right to the end. This beautiful smelling strawberry scrub is rich in vitamin c and antioxidant compounds which you can actually feel working on your skin when using it. This product also contains salicylic acid which helps clean your pores. This product is gentle enough to use everyday to protect and nourish the skin. The crushed walnut shells and kiwi seeds are the bits that you can feel gently exfoliating your skin. I love body scrubs that have bits in, as I feel like they are more effective? Or is that just me?
