I really like the Body Shop products. I was very happy when I opened my stocking at Christmas and found this strawberry body polish in there!

I have the body polish in the 200ml size. The tube is made of clear, soft plastic. It comes with a flip top lid so it is really easy to open and close. I have found though, that it seems to shut quite tightly, so sometimes it is quite an effort to actually flip it open and I have to get my nail in between the lid and the tube to help. The top also screws off, if you wanted to get it out that way. There is a picture of some yummy strawberries at the bottom of the tube. The Body Shop logo and 'Strawberry Body Polish' is written across the front of the tube, and then underneath that in French.

The gel is red in colour and quite thick and gooey. Inside the gel there is kiwi seeds and crushed walnut shell which exfoliate your skin as you wash. The smell of the gel is absolutely lovely. It really does smell of strawberries, and this smell lingers after you have gotten out of the shower.. so you might be sniffing yourself a lot since you will smell so good!

The body polish also contains community trade organic honey, which is meant to help moisturise the skin. I really do find that my skin feels more moiturised and clean after using this and I don't have to apply body lotion as it doesn't dry out my skin at all.

The other thing I really like about this product (and all Body Shop products) is that they are not tested on animals. This is a big plus in my book.

The gel doesn't foam up that much when you apply it and rub it into your skin, but I don't find this to be a problem since you really feel clean after using it, you don't need the bubbles to help you along. It is a really gentle body polish and can be used every day.

The body wash is to be used within 12 months of being opened, but this should be no problem since it is so nice to use.

The body scrub comes in two different sizes - a 75ml size for £4 and a 200ml size for £8, so obviously it works out cheaper to buy the larger size. The Body Shop products are only available in Body Shop, but there are Body Shop shops all over the place so it won't be to hard to get a hold of. There is also a Body Shop website so it is also really easy to buy online.

I would recommend this body polish. Body shop products are quite expensive compared to some of the brands you can get, but I really like this one. It smells lovely and really gets you clean.. and it is not tested on animals!
