A bit disappointing compared with the rest of the range (The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Lotion)
Member Name: emmi2009
Advantages: Light lotion Disadvantages: Didn't moisturise well I love the Body Shop and in particular the Vitamin E products as it seems to work really well for my skin. Unfortunately i can't rave so much about this body lotion. According to the body shop it also contains wheat germ oil which is supposed to be another top moisturiser and glycerin too - another ingredient that should lock in moisture. The vitamin E range is easily identifiable with it's pink packaging and delicate smell. This product comes in a 250ml tub which does last a long time which is probably because i have used it about twic e- in fact i only use it when i've run out of something else to use! It also has a very liquidy consistency and although it's easily absorbed my skin really doesn't feel moisturised after using it. It's a shame as the body butter is quite nice and thick but i agree with other reviewers that the smell of this does seem a bit more chemical like that the other vitamin e products which just have a delicate feminine smell in my opinion. Summary: Not one of Body Shop's success stories |
