Advantages: Natural, fair trade, does what is says

Disadvantages: Expensive

Many of you may be getting sick of my wild cherry reviews, but I'm doing the range, and while parts of it is repetitive, each item is review worthy.

The Wild Cherry Body Scrub comes in a plastic pot, which is see through and has a dark red screw lid. I have all the Wild Cherry items in travel size which is 50 ml, and costs £5.00 but you can buy the normal size which contains 200 ml, and that costs £12.20.

I do think the items in the range complement each other, and if you don't smell of wild cherry after using one item you most certainly will if you use it all, shower gel, body scrub, body butter.

The smell is sweet, but not sickly. It is quite fruity and does leave your skin smelling slightly fruity but not overly, smelling it in the pot is quite strong but on your skin it is not overwhelming and leaves you with a fruit of fragrance.

The exfoliating gel itself is a red colour, but very transparent, it has exfoliating particles made from kiwi seeds and crushed walnut shells in it as well as cherry pips, which makes it more natural and feel healthy, in using natural things to exfoliate your skin with.

The Body Shop say it helps to keep skin radiant and stimulate it in removing dead skin cells which cause dry skin. I have been using this now for 6 weeks. I use it 3 times a week and I think it works, the dry skin I get across my nose seems to have completely gone, and my skin feels smooth and soft and definitely looks better. I would recommend this product, although it is quite expensive, I like it.

I place some of the exfoliating gel on my skin and rub it in small circles over my whole face, it is very soft and not harsh on the skin like some scrubs can be. I have quite sensitive skin, and it doesn't leave it all red or blotchy.

The Wild Cherry Body Scrub contains Community Trade brazil nut oil this helps to leave the skin moisturised. The Body Shop specifically sources community trade brazil nut oil from Peru, sourced through the Body Shops fair trade program. This makes me feel better about the price because I know that the people out picking the ingredients are being paid a fair wage for the job they do. It creates jobs for those in Peru and that is good.

I like the product and would recommend it to those with more sensitive skin, I would say out of the whole range this is the one item I will buy again.

Summary: A good buy if you can afford to spend the money on it

K4ssie - If you gently massage it in your face its fine, this one is so gentle its not tough on the skin, i rub it a lot harder on my body. x
