Advantages: Smells nice, bubbles up well, leavesskin soft, refreshed and smelling of Cherries.

Disadvantages: Expensive, the smell is not to everyones tastes, can smell to sweet.

I am a huge fan of The Body Shop as a company, I respect their values on Fair Trade and Human Rights, and as a company they make sure all their products are fair and have psoitive effects on people and the enivronment. Also the products are really good quality, madde with the best igredients and are really well made, so therefore I personally love The Body Shop.
Also The Body Shop has some personal connections to my childhood, as my Step Mother, just after she married my Dad, would take me to The Body Shop after school sometimes, to buy me a special treat, which was usually the nice smelly soap or nice bath products, to try and win me over as her friend, which it did, because even as a child of around 11, I loved The Body Shop products, this love has carried on into my adulthood.

In the Spring of 2009, The Body Shop discontinued the Passionfruit range of products they had, which I personally wasn't a huge fan of, but the products did smell quite nice. Wild Cherry falvoured products replaced the Passionfruit range. And browsing my local Body Shop, I saw the Wild Cherry Shower Gel, and as my then current St Ives Shower Gel, was running low, I thought I'd give the Wild Cherry one a go. Also in the Wild Cherry range is: Wild Cherry Body Butter, Body Scrub, Soap (Availbitly depends on The Body Shop stores.)

After opening the Wild Cherry Shower Gel, the first I noticed was the lush, beautiful smell of Cherries. Wow, it was a strong smell of cherries, but I love the smell of Cherries, just not the taste of Cherries! Although I love the smell of this product, I can see why some people really wouldn't, the smell of cherries was fairly strong, but also according to my flatmate it smelt really "sugary and sweet", I personally loved it, but some people might not, so try the little testers they have in The Body Shop to see if you enjoy the smell, as it is an aquired smell, and not everyone will like this, not a great present idea.

Using the Wild Cherry Shower Gel in the shower, I noticed that the Shower Gel is really easy to use, it bubbles up really quickly and is smooth enough to apply all over your body, apart from face, as it could eaily get into eyes, and be really painful. The smell of the Cherries ws still pretty strong, even during the shower, so be aware the smell doesn't get any less powerful. Also the Shower Gel is easy to wash off in the shower, and doesn't leave any Gel on the skin, and did the job it was ment to do, and cleaned my skin.
The results of using The Body Shop's Wild Cherry Shower Gel was my skin felt soft and smooth, and didn't make my skin to dired or too greasy, just perfect. Also my skin flt refreshed and hydrated, and smelt of the gorgeous Cherry flavour, which I loved, and the positive for people who aren't keen on the smell of the Shower Gel in the bottle is that, the smell of your skin is much fainter, but does linger for a while. And personally, doubt I would use this too often, as the smell might get on my nerves a little bit after a while.

Wild Cherry Shower Gel is only avaibale at The Body Shop stores across the UK and other stores across Europe, or online at The Body Shop website, www.thebodyshop.co.uk. The Shower Gel comes in two sizes, 60ml, which costs around £2-3, and the 250ml, which costs around £5-6. But often The Body Shop put on offers and have sales, so keep your eyes open for them. And also, I've seen smaller sized products form The Body Shop available at (larger) Poundland stores, for £1, so it would be worth having a look in there too.

Summary: I liked it, but it depends on your tastes. Not a great present, unless you know the person likes it.
