Advantages: Great fragrance, leaves skin soft and well moisturised
Disadvantages: Slightly pricey
After recently decorating my bathroom and choosing my new colour scheme (White and brown) I decided a little splash of colour was needed, orange was the perfect colour and after remembering that I had been given a Sanctuary set as a christmas present but had left it sat in a draw, what better than to sit ionmy new glass shelf....what I didn't realise was the little hidden gem hidden inside the Sanctuary box, the body butter. I thought i had emptyed the box but was shocked to find it inside, so I gave it a go.....
The Sancturys body butter comes in a round tub, white base and orange lid. The tub I have is 300ml in size but you can get smaller travel sized ones. To open the product you need to turn the lid and take it off the base. The body butter is then read yto be applied to your skin.
To apply the product is really simple, I take a nut sized amount on my fingers and then rub it evenly all over my skin, paying particular attention as the product suggests to dry areas such as elbows and knees. The body butter comes out quite thick in texture and not at all runny or greasy.
The body butter is enriched in cocoa and shea butter. The elements of these leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised, this is because the butters have a high level of fats inside them that melt at body temperature and so make them easy to absorb into the skin. Then there is the fragrance of the body butter, when you first remove the lid the fantastic smell simply hits you. It is made up of sweet almond and macadamia oil with hints of vitamin E, beautiful!
This product really does leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised. It is a really great pampering treat and boosts your skin if it is feeling dry. I can't believe that I had left this great little find sat in a draw!
You can buy the product from Boots or direct from the Sanctuary brand themselves, www.thesanctuary.co.uk. It is priced at £7.99 for the 300ml pot that I have, it may seem a little expensive at first but as the body butter is thick in texture a little goes along way so I find it is worth the initial cost.
82% of the magazines Cosmo readers said that this is the best body butter that they have ever tried.... i have to agree with them!! If you have not tried this before then I would certainly recomend it, especially if you do suffer from dry skin as it worked wonders on me!!!
Summary: A great little beauty favourite!
