Sanctuary - Spa Covent Garden Body Butter
£7.99 from Boots.
As a Christmas present from my sister, I received a sanctuary set, and out of all the different products included, the body butter was the one I couldn't wait to try!!
Presented in a white and orange, hard-packed smooth tub the name of the product is clearly displayed on both the top and side of the package. My inital thought was how well it was packaged, and although its in a fairly traditional style, the orange in the packaging gives it a great modern feel. Opening the packaging I could almost imagine being sat in a spa!
The butter itself, a white colour, is more of a moisturiser consistency than previous body butters I have used. On application the butter gently glides onto my skin, with an inital almost greasy feel, I'm almost worried I'll be disappointed, but true to form within a minute or two, the butter is fully absorbed into my skin, leaving nothing but a gentle, soft finish leaving my skin feeling healthy and nourished right through the next day.
The body butter is advertised as an intense moisture boost and this is exactly what it does. Filled with coca butter, shea butter and a soothing macademia oil, I don't think this butter could be any more moisturising without leaving a greasy feel on your skin.
The smell of the butter is also a lovely mixture of the various ingredients, giving a smell that is neither too sweet nor bitter, but just the right combination to leave you feeling clean and refreshed.
I would more than recommend this body butter to anyone out there, and would be very pleased to receive it in a gift set again. The price is very reasonable for such a well know, quality product and I wouldn't hesitate spending that on myself in the future. I suffer from dry skin, and this is one of the best non-medicated products I've found to combat the dryness. 10/10 from me!!
Summary: A great product I wouldn't hesitate in buying again!
