... it's a 75ml travel sized container and I don't foresee it lasting longer than a couple of days as my skin is very dry thanks to a constant battering from the swirling sub arctic winds whipping through the snow covered Welsh mountains. At £2.25 for 75ml this isn't one of the cheapest body lotions on the market and rather disappointingly its not the nicest smelling one either. If anything its rather overpowering and that's before its left the bottle. Theres a pungent aroma of ginger with a distinct floral undertone. ...more

Premium Review The Sanctuary Body Lotion: Turning my bathroom into a Sanctuary (858 words)
by - written on 12/04/08 (Very useful, 94 readings)

One of my favourite body lotions at the moment is made by The Sanctuary. I do not usually buy this brand because I think it is very expensive for what it is but my dermatologist recommended the body lotion because I have refused to use the evil smelling medicated body lotion I was prescribed and she said this is a very good alternative. You can buy Sanctuary products either from the Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden in London or the big Boots shops sell quite a big range. This body lotion comes in a tall round bottle that has a lid covering one of those flip tops that you press down at one side so that the end that the lotion comes out of pops up. This ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A fabulous Sanctuary product (722 words)

I first bought this body lotion as part of a Sanctuary Spa gift set, a few years ago, and have bought it a few times since. I don't use body lotions regularly, but this is one that always seems to get used up quickly when I have a bottle in the house! ~What they claim this does~ On the front of the bottle underneath the Sanctuary logo, you will see claims that this product will 'firm, tone and moisturise' Now, you will need to look closely to find that out, as it is written in fairly small print! The back also states that the ginger extract in this product will help boost circulation, which in turn will help reduce cellulite. It also contains ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Sanctuary Body Lotion: superb moisturisation for that dull, tired skin (482 words)

Opening the lid on this plastic bottle, I was instantly hit with the pleasant scent of the Sanctuary Spa Essentials products. Sweet, warm, comforting. Packed with essential oils and fragrance, these products are wonderful for that luxurious pampered feeling. Sanctuary Spa is in Covent Gardens in London, and is a Ladies only spa - sorry boys! Their range of products is available to buy on 'the sanctuarys' website or in Boots, but some products are only available to buy in the larger boots stores. ~~~ back to the product in question! ~~~ I am only using a small, travel sized bottle of this lotion at the moment but have a larger ...  Read the complete review

For Christmas this year a work colleague bought me a gift set of The Sanctuary Spa products which contained the Body Lotion, Body Wash, Foaming Bath Soak and Body Scrub. So I felt extremely privileged to have been bought something so lovely, either that or she was trying to give me one hell of a hint. The Sanctuary Spa products are easily recognisable in Boots stores which are where I have seen them on sale more recently. The Sanctuary Spa claim to "revolutionary new Skincare range promotes Spa Perfect Skin that is naturally glowing and radiant" which is marked upon the little tag that comes with the box and they also use natural effective ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review The Sanctuary Body Lotion: A Bit of Sanctuary at Home! (1247 words)

- Price and Availability - This can be bought online from The Sanctuary Spa shop at the website shown at the beginning of this review or from Boots although it does depend on your local branch which products they have in stock. It's currently priced at 4.75 for a 250ml bottle so not the most economical of products but if you fancy a little treat the indulge yourself. Boots and The Sanctuary Spa both have a 3 for 2 offer on a number of the Spa Essential products. - Other products - There is an abundance of products from the Spa Essentials range but I have listed just a few below: * Soothing bath milk * ...  Read the complete review
