Advantages: Gives lovely soft skin with a pleasant fragrance.
Disadvantages: Only lasts for about 7-8 applications.
Sanctuary products have come fairly commonplace these days, they started life as the "in house" product of the exclusive Covent Garden ladies day spa, but since then market saturation has occured.
Having said that they are still generally, in my opinion, very good products. The fact that they seem to be on an almost permanent 3 for 2 offer in Boots just makes them more appealing, not less (unless you have been using them for years, are a complete snob and feel like someone's stolen your secret).
Anyway, enough about me, time to get over it.....
**The product
The body scrub is one of my favourites, although I think that it used to be thicker in consistency?? It is a gel like texture, with a medium coarseness exfoilator - enough to work up some smooth skin but not too harsh. Massage gently onto clean wet skin, rinse off and pat dry. DO NOT USE ON FACE.
**Key Ingredients
The ingredients include:
Patchouli which gives it the lovely fresh smell
Orange oil to rejuvinate
natural pumice to exfoiliate
**Packaging
It has the usual Sanctuary packaging - extremely subtle and stylish considering it's bright orange! The tube is well made and won't crease/crumple with use. It's one of those products you'll put on show in your bathrooom!
**Fragrance/colour
The smell is actually lovely - fruity, uplifting, fragrant without being overpowering. The colour is quite a bright orange but it doesn't leave any colour behind!
The price of a 220ml tube is £4.75, but the one downside of this product is that it doesn't last that long. A tube lasts me about 2 weeks, being used every other day for a full body scrub.
Summary: Good sanctuary staple.
