*Introduction*
I bought Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé when I spotted it in the bargain corner of Boots. I was fairly astonished to see this pot available to buy at the reduced cost of just £3. I had outdone myself on my bargain hunt with regards to this find, especially as I think that it was probably a mix up on the stores part. You didn't see me question this when I was paying at the till though.
*The Claim*
Recreate the indulgent benefits of the spa treatment at home with The Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé.
*About the Product*
The Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé contains a hedonistic cocktail of soothing chamomile, moisturising vitamin E and exotic spices to moisturise deeply and beautify your skin. It is the ultimate indulgent and nourishing skin treat.
Chamomile is a recognised as a natural healing treatment that helps to rejuvenate the skin.
Vitamin E is an fat soluble vitamin that traps and neutralises free radicals created by the environment and offers good protection for the skin.
*Application*
When using this product, scoop a liberal amount from the tub into your hand. You should rub the body soufflé firmly into dry skin using small, circular motions to leave your skin soft and softly scented. I often apply this to my skin after I have exfoliated and my skin feels unbelievably soft. I frequently focus on rougher areas of my skin, like elbows and knees as the impact is great.
*Price and Availability*
The Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé is available to buy in two different sizes. You can buy a travel size 50ml tub for £2.20 and a larger 475ml tub for £8.76. It isn't an essential product but it is perfect as a treat for yourself or a gift for friends and family. I would strongly recommend buying this body soufflé when the Sanctuary products are on a three for two offers which is a regular occurrence.
You can purchase the body soufflé from your local Boots store or the Boots online website. Alternatively you can buy it directly from The Sanctuary Spa shop online at www.thesanctuary.co.uk.
*My Opinion*
The packaging: Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé is packaged in a clear plastic tub with a screw on and off lid. I like this style of packaging as it is very easy to use and you can scoop the quantity of the product that you want to use. As with the majority of Sanctuary products, the design of the packaging it uncomplicated yet stylish. It is vaguely recognisable to the brand as it has the same style although as it is a range within the Sanctuary brand, but it is not the regular Spa Essentials but the Mande Lular range.
Colour, texture and smell: The colour of this body butter is an off white/cream with an ever so slight pink shade to it. Like the body butters that the Sanctuary sell, this body soufflé is fairly thick and lavish in texture yet it is slightly lighter when it comes to application and it soaks into your skin easily. It is also very creamy and silky to the touch whilst also being non greasy.
The smell of this product is very feminine, floral and sweet with the slight scent off orange added. The scent of this body soufflé stays on your skin for some time after use although it isn't overpowering in its aroma.
Does it recreate the benefits of the spa treatment at home? Yes. Yes. Yes. When I use this body soufflé, I feel like I am receiving the same benefits that I get when I have been for a Spa weekend. Minus the excellent massage that it. But the actual product itself makes you feel divine and fabulous.
Does it moisturise deeply and beautify my skin? It most definitely does. I suffer from dry skin on my legs, it particular my knees and this body soufflé moisturises them fantastically to leave them feel hydrated and super smooth.
Is it the ultimate indulgent treat? I'm not so sure I would go as far as saying that it is the ultimate indulgent treat, but it is most definitely up there with the best of them. I would always consider this product when buying something for my skin that will also cheer me up.
Longevity of the product: A large tub of Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé will last you approximately 10-12 uses, depending on how much you use with each use and if someone else in your family takes a shine to the body soufflé.
*Would I Recommend This Product?*
I would recommend Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Souffle as a treat but not as a product that you would use on a regular basis for the simple reason that it would end up being quite expensive. I would suggest that you keep this product in mind for sisters, mums and girlfriends when it comes to buying those Christmas presents and you are out of ideas. This is a guarantee to win you brownie points!
*Overall*
Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Body Soufflé truly is heavenly. I adore the feel of my skin after I have used this product, especially on my legs and the aroma of the body soufflé is lovely. It is easily one of my favourite products for moisturising my skin, it is just a shame that it eventually all used up.
