As a loyal fan of the luxurious Sanctuary Spa products, I bought myself a jar of this Salt Scrub to get rid of the dead skin that had built up over the months of hiding under thick jumpers, cardigans and the long winter coat. ~~~~ The presentation ~~~~ Presented in a resealable chunky glass jar with a metal clasp closure (exactly as in the picture), with the sanctuary fish and logo on the front. ~~~~ The Product ~~~~ Made with sea salt (from the Dead Sea, I am led to believe), Jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil and evening primrose oil. It is cream in colour. You may have to mix the scrub a bit prior to use as the ... Read the complete review

Body scrubs are one of those things you either love or hate. If the idea of scrubbing yourself with paper-free sandpaper fills you with horror then you'll fall into the hate camp. If, like me, you love the satisfaction of thinking that you're rubbing away the bad to be greeted with the new then you'll fall into the love camp. The Sanctuary Spa has long been associated with high quality body and skincare products. The ladies-only day spa in London's Covent Garden is the root of all things Sanctuary and the products used to come with a price tag to match. Over the last 5 or so years Sanctuary has cashed in on the high street desire for branded products and, ... Read the complete review

Having already enjoyed two of Sanctuary's other body scrubs (Spa Essentials and Kuan Jin), I thought it was high time to open my sachet of the Salt Scrub, which I received as part of a birthday-present bag of lovely Sanctuary goodies from a thoughtful friend. The Sanctuary is a range of luxurious bath and body products, originating from the chain of Sanctuary spas across the country. They are great for pampering and feel indulgent, but prices are generally around that of Body Shop products, if not cheaper, so I'm a real fan as I always like to receive things as gifts which I can afford to repurchase for myself! The Salt Scrub comes in either a ... Read the complete review

This salt scrub sachet was part of a 'The Sanctuary' bumper gift set. - Price - A 60g sachet is currently £1.29 and is a good size and price to assess as to whether you want to invest in a little bit more. If you want more..... then the 650g tub is £9.99 which does in fact work out quite a bit cheaper if you like the product! - Packaging - I can only comment on the sachet which is in a basic packet, needs cutting open. The 650g tub looks much more attractive. - What is it and what does it promise? - The bumph on the packaging claims the following: * Contains almond oil - a highly ... Read the complete review

I love body scrubs and I buy absolutely loads of them - I think there must be at least seven or eight in my bathroom at the moment, my obsession is a little bit out of control! I think it's the idea of a product that will rub away the layer of dead surface skin to reveal fresh new glowing skin underneath that I really like! Maybe I'm just a bit strange... If you're not familiar with it, then you should know that The Sanctuary is a spa in Covent Garden and they have a range of body care and now skincare products. This particular scrub is made with dead sea salts which will polish the skin, sloughing away any dead skin cells, and jojoba, coconut and ... Read the complete review
