Advantages: Encourages teeth brushing and makes it fun. Lasting battery
Disadvantages: Music running through your teeth????
I first saw these when my daughter was opening her Christmas presents last year, and my first impressions were, great concept but lets see how long it lasts.
My daughter isn't a fan of brushing her teeth, those of you who are used to reading my reviews about children's products will be realising that my daughter isn't a fan of much.
OK, so when she opened this particular Christmas present it was thrown to the side instantly and the next present was quickly being tugged at.
Bedtime came and she asked for her new toothbrush. It is battery operated, though that is purely for the music, the head does not rotate or anything. I has an on off button and only plays music (in our case Hannah Montana "Rock Star") when you place pressure on the head, i.e when you are brushing your teeth. My daughter loved this and kept brushing for 2 minutes. Happy mummy.
She uses this toothbrush everyday and it is still running on its original battery! impressive.
It has a rubber grip on the back. The heads aren't changeable, the head is flexible.
I am impressed with this toothbrush although the thought of having music travelling through my teeth is possibly questionable.
The cheapest I have seen these priced at is £4.49 including delivery at play.com.
They come in a good variety of tunes.
A good stocking filler.
Summary: It helps me get my daughter to brush her teeth.
