Toothpaste is a modern day resource that we take advantage of in order to keep your teeth and gums clean and in good order. I have no idea how cavemen would have kept their teeth healthy apart from sandstone and some sort of solution - doesn't sound good. That's even if they realised that teeth needed taking care of. You can get all different sorts of toothpastes nowadays including those for sensitive teeth, to whiten teeth and ones to give your breathe an extra long-lasting freshness throughout the day.
