I am a big bath fan so I do like to have a wide variety of nice bath foams to use. This is one which I spotted on the shelf in my local supermarket and I have to say I chose it as it was such a nice bright colour.

~~THE BOTTLE~~

The bottle is a clear plastic and has a black plastic flip lid. The clear bottle is excellent as it means that the nice bright coloured bath foam can be seen and it also allows me to see how much of it I have left. On the front of the bottle is a label which has the product name at the top and the Treacle moon logo at the bottom is black writing. There is a saying in the middle of the label as with all the other bath foam in this range, this one reads,

That warm sunny feeling......you know the one....... When for no proper reason your tummy just goes all weird and you grin like a silly hen.

I do enjoy these sayings as they always give me something to ponder over when I am having a nice long soak.

On the back of the bottle you can find a label which has all the relevant product information including, ingredients, directions for use and contact details for treacle moon.

~~USE AND RESULTS~~

This is for both bath and shower use but as I do not like having showers I only use it for my bath. I like to squeeze a generous amount under the running tap. The consistency of the gel is quite thick and does remind me of hair conditioner. When the gel reacts with the water it makes lots of nice light bubbles but it does not change the water colour. The fragrance from the gel does in fact smell of lemonade. Not the old traditional type but the plain basic clear stuff. The smell is not overpowering when you lift the lid and it is only very faint when you use the gel. I think I would have liked it to have been a stronger smell so I could have smelt it more whilst I was bathing. There is no smell left on my skin after getting out of the water and drying off.

If using this in the shower then it is recommend that you light massage into the skin and rinse off.

After using this as a bath foam I have noticed it did leave my skin nice and soft and hubby has used this in the shower and he too was left with nice soft skin which did not irritate him with his sensitive skin.

One thing which I like about this product and all of the others in this range is that they are not tested on animals.

The product ingredients for those who wish to know are:-

Aqua (water), Sodium laureth sulfate, Cocamidopropyl bethaine, Cocamide DEA, Glycerine, Parfum (fragrance), Citral limonene, Linonene, Linalool,Styrene/acrylates copolymer, Polyquarternium-7, Denatonium benzoate, Xanthan gum, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Magnesium nitrate, Magnesium chloride, Benzyl alcohol,Methylparaben, propylparaben, CI 19140 (yellow 5)

The bath foam comes in a 16.9 fl. Oz / 500ml bottle which for me is a great size and this does last me over 2 months but this is because I have so many others on the go at the same time. I would estimate that with regular daily use this bottle would last about 2-3 weeks.

~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~

I purchased my bottle from Tesco for the price of £2.98 which for me was quite good. I have seen this available in other supermarkets and Asda do occasionally have this on offer with 2 bottle from the range for £5.

~~OVERALL~~

I have to say that I was really looking forward to using this as the smell was quite good. It does look very nice sitting in my collection in the bathroom but I just felt it could have been so much better if the fragrance was stronger. I will recommend this but only if you prefer lightly fragranced bath and shower gels.
