Advantages: Smells lovely and is on offer!

Disadvantages: Leaves you with a sticky sensation.

I am afraid I have a confession...... I am a sweaty betty! So after this revelation you will understand that it has been my life's work to find a deodorant that not only controls sweating and wet patches, but the smell aspect too.

The product I will now review is - "Vaseline active fresh - 24hr protection"

I had never previously brought this particular brand before as it has 1, not been on offer at Asda where I do my shopping, and 2, the bottle does seem to be considerably smaller in size than a lot of the other deodorants I would normally buy.

After going to Asda last week I noticed these had been reduced down to £1.00 a bottle, so I thought I would give it a go!

The bottle is small and cylindrical in shape, and holds 150ml of spray.

The bottle is the trademark white and blue colour, with a removable blue lid with bog-standard spray nozzle beneath.

There is an extensive list of properties on the back of the bottle, these being:-

Suitable for sensitive skin,
Alcohol free, non sting formula,
Dermatologically tested,
Keeps you dry all day,
Light fresh fragrance,
Contains Proderma, a skin caring complex which can help protect the underarm skin.

After showering ( a good start!), I spray liberally onto my underarms. There is no stinging sensation to speak of, which is good as along with being sweaty I am incredibly hairy too, so have to shave daily....yes I don't know how I ended up married either! Lol!
There is no loose powder fro the spray, but there is a light film that did transfer slightly onto my clothes when getting dressed, though I am getting better at trying to prevent this....it means I have to roll my top on like you would a condom, but it helps!

The smell of this product is really lovely, it is fresh, light and can only be described as a linen smell, which does linger for a while and even seems to rejuvenate slightly when you body eventually warms up....remember ladies we do not perspire, we glow!

Well does it work, I have to say it does though there is a slight problem with it. I have yet to get the smell factor with this product, preventing any unfortunate odours escaping, it doesn't stop the sweating itself to any degree, but rather leaves your armpits feeling really quite sticky, and that is one sensation I can't abide the feeling off.

This is a nice enough deodorant that I loved the smell of, but I don't like the sticky feel, so back to the drawing board for me, but for less sweaty betty's this would be perfect!

Thanks for reading x
