Advantages: Lasts all day, subtle fragrance, not expensive
Disadvantages: none that I have found
I had always been quite happy with my Vaseline Anti Perspirant Deodorant spray. Recently though I had started to cough and sneeze each time I used it. So I decided it was time for a change.
I had a good look at the other alternatives but I did not see anything I fancied. Then I had a look at the roll on anti perspirants. I spotted the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Fresh roll on among the huge selection. I decided this was the one for me as I had always like the protection Intensive Care had given me.
As with everything from soap to soup this is a Unilver product.
The one I chose is the Aloe Fresh anti perspirant. This roll on comes in a small white bottle with a white cap. The cap is at the bottom of the bottle. I assume this is so that the ball stays moist.
The blue coloured Vaseline Intensive Care label is on the front of the bottle. The label at the back tells you the ingredients and also states that it is a 50ml bottle. There is a small tab at the bottom of this label which you can peel off to reveal the directions for use and the contact details.
When I took off the cap there was a delicate fragrance. The ball is a good size and rolls very easily and smoothly onto my skin. The anti perspirant feels soft and gentle on my skin.
The deodorant does take a few minutes to dry on my skin. Once the deodorant has dried in I never have any problems with white marks. On occassions when I used the spray version of this I did get a few white marks. This is probably because I used to spray and not allow it to dry in. With the roll on I am concious of the fact that I have to let it dry completely.
I have been told that there are two kinds of sweat. The sweat the body makes when hot and the sweat produced when we are stressed or emotional.
I can honestly say that this little bottle works well for me, for both types of sweat. It keeps me dry all day and even when I am hot and bothered the fragrance is very subtle.
This is by no means the most expensive roll on deodorant on the market. It cost me just £1.09 in Tesco. It lasts for ages and I think it is great value for money.
Will I buy this again? - Yes definitely.
Summary: Dry pits all round with this.........
