I managed to lose my bottle of deodorant between bathroom and bedroom after the shower so had to borrow my daughters deodorant. My own deodorant seems to have been swallowed by the same black hole that the socks disappear into so I've been using this one for a few days now and I'm not impressed by the results.

This is the aloe fresh deodorant. It's available in an 150ml bottle and I paid the pricely sum of £1 for it in the local chemist but it usually sells for £1.99 elsewhere. It is the aloe fresh variety and it boasts that it contains pro derma. I've no idea what pro derma actually is but I've got a feeling that it is a word made up by vaseline to mean nice to your skin.

The deodorant has a nice fresh smell, it reminds me a bit of cucumbers. A quick spray into my pits and I think I'm set for the day. Unfortunately the 24 hour protection promised did not happen and by mid afternoon I had that horrible damp feeling in my armpits and was paranoid that I smelled bad. Worse still, by the time I got home the sweat had caused the deodorant to go all gritty so now I had damp gritty armpits.

I don't sweat particularly badly so it's disappointing that this deodorant didn't live up to its promised 24 hour protection on an average spring day. If I had been exercising then no doubt I would have ended up stinking by the end of the day. This deodorant is frequently on special offer but I suggest that you ignore it and buy something that will work.
