WHY HAS THIS BEEN DISCONTINUED BY VASELINE AND REPLACED WITH A LOTION WITHOUT THE SAME EFFECTS, AND MORE LIKE PLAIN VASELINE INTENSIVE CARE REGULAR????????? I really liked Dermacare, and now you can only buy it online, or from shops with old stock. As a creme, tt was an excellent - incredibly moisterising and kept skin moisterised for hours, not just like some cremes claim. Compared to E45 it was affordable, and yet reassuringly expensive, if you know what I mean. Highly recommended, but hard to find, if not impossible, which raises its value even higher. Does anyone know any more information regarding this??? I've tried buying it from ... Read the complete review

I recently had a slight change in job at work which resulted in my hands getting a rather harsher treatment than usual. I was therefore on the lookout for something which was going to help and protect them. There are literally hundreds of hand care products on the market and sifting through them to find one that is suitable is no easy task. I had used other vaseline products in the past and at the invitation of MRs Donf18 tried this Dermacare product. The platic container which houses the product is in itself not that impressive, being palin white with a light blue top and a blue label. At the bottom of the front of the bottle it makes a small ... YOUR SKIN When reading beauty magazines, you will always find that the best skin tip is to moisturise it so that it looks its best. This is not just to apply some lotion on it; it also means to drink plenty of water every day so that your skin looks nice and healthy because it is hydrated. With the summer coming up, most of us don't want to hit the beach with dried up skin (especially as I live next to the sea), so I thought I better do something about it. I always dig out this body lotion in the summer, as it is my favourite and I have been using it for a few years now, for an everyday lotion it is great. PACKAGING My favourite ... We can all remember the flaky kid at school cant we? He was the one who was victimised by hordes of nasty spotty faced kids shouting cornflake at the top of their squeaky voices as the bedraggled soul as he crossed the schoolyard. We also know that from time to time you wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night, after a nightmare that you were the flaky kid! Fear not and sleep soundly in your land of slumber because there is hope for us all, and it wont cost an arm and a leg either. The wonderful chemist types at Elida Faberge, after they have created loads of different shades of red for women spread all over their lips in an attempt to attract ... Read the complete review

Ever since I started shaving I have battled to overcome facial dry skin. In order to avoid being labelled a leper and closely resembling a flaking ghostly apparition I tried a plethora of dry skin products with little or no success. Some products even exacerbated the problem and the daily shave often left me feeling like an ageing Hollywood actress after her 12th cosmetic nip and tuck. As skin complaints go it may not be the most worrying but facial dry skin sure does feel uncomfortable and looks unsightly. Try dancing under a neon light at a night-club with a dry face and you'll see what I mean. For a while the only alternative seemed to be not to shave at ... Read the complete review
