Advantages: Effective for dry skin, Good aftershave balm, Good as after sun

Disadvantages: Clogged nozzle

I first bought Vaseline Intensive Care Body Lotion about two years ago as I occasionally suffer from dry skin on the knuckles.
Being a guy I wasn't too sure what I was looking for in the supermarket, and this product was on a special two for one offer at the time, and as I regonised the brand name I thought I'd give it a go.

A small amount rubbed into the knuckles almost immediately made my hands feel much better. They felt soft and moist and the painful sores were soothed. With regular use they soon dissappeared and I now just use it every other day to keep them in shape.

Looking at the label on the bottle I noticed it can be used as an after shave balm. Being someone who tends to cut myself often when shaving I gave it a try. It really does soothe the fiery skin you can get after a shave and leaves my skin really soft. It sounds weird I know but I love to stroke my cheek after a shave now because it's unreal how soft the skin feels!

I also find this soothing properties of this product great for when you come in out of the sun. It stings slightly at first when you rub it on but I think that's more the actual rubbing causing the tingling, soon the skin feels cool and calm.

My girlfriend buys this product now also after using mine and swears by it for her legs whether she's just come out of bath or just shaved them.

It has a nice smell of Aloe Vera and Cucumber.

At around £2.70 - £3 for 200ml, I think it's great value. 200ml usually last me about 3 months. My only gripe is it can be sometimes hard to force out every drop from the bottle. I usually leave mine standing upside down to aid this. It's not a thick liquid, quite runny actually it's just the nozzle gets clogged a little sometimes and needs cleaning.

Excellent product.
