I have a bottle of this stuff stashed everywhere. No really. I've got a bottle at work, a bottle at home and a bottle in the car...and lets face it, I have no life, so that's everywhere. "Why??" I hear you scream? (ok well, maybe not scream) The fact of the matter is, I have a tonne of tattoos. When I get new ones, I get a small tub of Goo from my artist and then I am left to my own devices. He recommends Cocoa butter, which I do use too. I find that to be a little too greasy for me though. Vaseline intensive care goop, however, isn't as greasy as you may imagine. Most other bottles of goop that I apply liberaly tend to stay quite wet and ... Read the complete review

I've started moisturising my skin everyday after having a shower. I started off using cheap body lotions which come as part of gift sets at Christmas (about 3 years ago.) But then, I found that they were all running out, so I had one leg smelling of strawberries, the other smelling of vanilla and the rest of my body smelling of coconut. It just wasn't gonna work, using up old crap. So, when I saw Vaseline Intensive Care products on special in Superdrugs, I thought I'd get some, cos I'd used their products before and had found them really effective. I'd used a little squeezy tube of Dry Skin Lotion from Intensive Care a few years ago when ... Read the complete review

I suffer terribly from dry skin, and in my time I have tried many many different moisturisers. I used to try which ever one was on offer in Tescos or which ever fancy one I got given for Xmas. Each one seemed to have a few good points, but overall was just OK. When the time came round that Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Lotion was on special offer I gave it a go. I wasnt feeling enthusiastic about this product. I use Vaseline itself a lot on my lips and think it is fantastic, but with the name Vaseline in the title of this product it gave me images of think and greasy, just like putting Vaseline itself on my legs! I couldnt have been further from the ... Read the complete review

Vaseline is a well known, and well respected brand, and can be found in almost every chemist, supermarket and pharmacy, meaning it is always fairly easy to get hold of a bottle. Despite this, however, it just doesn't do it for me, but that is for one specific reason. Every year, when the sun begins to shine, I whip out the self tan, to take away that winter whiteness. Before tanning, it is important to moisturise well, and this is where Vaseline comes in, as this year it was my moisturiser of choice. Now, as a base for tanning, I like to look for a respectable product, rather than a cheap one that doesn't do much. At the same time, over the summer ... Read the complete review

Dry scaly hands, the worst thing ever, I was desperate for hand cream, searching the aisles of Superdrug for something that was cheap, cheerful, but more importantly, not greasy or sticky. I tend to find in a lot of 'hand creams' the result is sticky, the smell icky and it seems to stick to your hands for such a long time. The problem in our office is that they use Carex handwash, this seems to be my hands' nemesis, as soon as I have dried my hands the skin on my hands dries up and goes all scaly and uncomfortable. I needed help. After debating on several kinds of hand cream and body cream and decided upon a 75ml version of Vaseline Intensive ... Read the complete review
