Advantages: Great value, Smell, Really works on dry, rough skin

Disadvantages: None!

After my usual body lotion stopped working I thought: 'Oh no! What other body lotion will be this cheap and still do it's job?!' So off I went to the Boots website to see what I could find. I spotted Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Moisture Hand and Body Lotion for Dry Skin almost immediately. After seeing nothing but positive reviews on-line, I thought 'Sod it! I'll give it a go!' and that was that! I went straight out to Boots and bought it that very weekend!

Looks: The bottle is a pale yellow and kind of flat. It has a flip top lid, with a hole in the top of the bottle to dispense the lotion. On the front it has a blue box with Vaseline Intensive Care written in it in white, then Essential Moisture Hand and Bodt Lotion, For Dry Skin written under that in dark blue. Then at the bottom, there are 3 coloured squares with Multi-vitamin complex written in white in a green box underneath. On the back, it tells you more about the lotion and has pictures showing what the lotion is suitable for, then the ingredients. The lotion itself is a slightly paler yellow than the bottle and is quite runny. I thought body lotions had to be really thick to do their job well, but this is a misconception I'll be happy to ignore from now on! It smells lovely, slightly floral and really fresh and revitalising.

How is it on my skin?: Fab! It feels really fresh and actually cools my skin down as I rub it in. It abosrbs really quickly leaving my skin beautifully fresh and really soft even on my troublesome knees and elbows! I use about a 50p sized blob rubbed between my hands on both arms and then again on my legs. I then add a little extra to my knees and elbows.

Does it work?: It really does! I've been using this for around 5 days now and my skin is so much better. Any dry irritated patches have vanished and my once sand-paper like knees and elbows are smooth and soft. As a little goes a long way, I can see this 400ml bottle lasting me for a couple of months even with daily use. And at a measly £2.99 a bottle, it's fantastic value!

Conclusion: I'd reccommend this lotion to any body that has dry skin and wants to sort it out without breaking the bank! I love it!
